WHAT WILL YOU DO TO BE A PHARMACY TECH III?

The basic function of the Pharmacy Technician III is to assist the pharmacist in performing his / her distributive and professional duties. Responsibilities include assisting in the dispensing of drugs, transport and delivery of drugs, repackaging of drugs, charging and crediting of medications, operation and restocking of automated dispensing devices, restocking of medications and non-drug supplies, answering the telephone and responding to staff requests at the inpatient window. All these functions are performed under the supervision, review and approval of a pharmacist.

Education and Experience Requirements :

Position Designation : Technician III – Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician and maintain certification status-Required.

Salary Range : $19.25-$27.91 / per hour Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
