About the Job :

Join our Oncology department as a Scheduling Coordinator, where you'll be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth and compassionate experience for patients undergoing chemotherapy and other treatments. You'll coordinate appointments, manage communications, and support the infusion area team.

What You'll Do :

• Greet patients and visitors, answer phone calls, and collect patient information
• Coordinate and schedule Oncology provider and infusion appointments, including teaching sessions and follow-ups
• Serve as the infusion area receptionist and facilitate patient flow with the Resource Nurse
• Communicate with the Oncology team to ensure timely and accurate scheduling
• Maintain confidentiality, stay current with EPIC updates, and follow safety and infection control guidelines
