Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Preschool Teacher in the Autism Program located in South Orange, NJ. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing lesson plans and curriculum tailored to meet the needs of young children with autism. Daily tasks will include engaging with students, conducting educational activities, and monitoring their progress. The teacher will also be expected to communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and other staff to ensure a supportive and collaborative learning environment.

Qualifications

• Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development skills
• Expertise in Early Childhood Education and Kindergarten instruction
• Experience working with children with autism is a plus
• Ability to create a supportive and nurturing classroom environment
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• State certification in P-3 and Special Education
