Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Attorney located in Bowie, MD. The Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting legal research, and practicing various areas of law including professional malpractice. Daily tasks will include client consultations, drafting legal documents, and managing files. The Attorney will also represent clients in court and other legal proceedings.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and conduct legal research across various areas of law, including professional malpractice.
  • Engage in client consultations, draft legal documents, and manage client files.
  • Represent clients in court and other legal proceedings.

Qualifications

  • Member in good standing of the Maryland or Virginia Bar; preference given to candidates barred in two of three jurisdictions of Maryland, District of Columbia, and Virginia
  • Expertise in Defense Litigation and Professional Malpractice
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Trial experience is a plus

  • Candidates with 5-10 years litigation experience
  • $100,000.00 - $150,000.00
