Ranging from intimate small events to large scale galas, fine dining to picnics, we do it all. Support the management team in the Catering and Dining Departments and assist all Auxiliary Service departments as needed to carry out the university’s mission.
Purpose of the Position This position will dispense alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for concessions stations and banquet bars at the Ferguson Center for the Arts, as well as Banquet bars in the David Student Union.
It will also work closely with the Catering management team to ensure all entertainers, staff members, and patrons are provided with timely beverage and meal service.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Related to Position Ability to work a flexible schedule to include days, late nights, and weekends
Ability to work independently in setting up and breaking down work stations
Must be of legal age to pour alcoholic beverages Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Required Education :
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience :
Food service experience
Cash handling experience
Experience bartending and serving in a full service restaurant and / or previous bartending and serving experience in a professional catering company.
