Job Description
Every role at Trove Brands is critical to our successful functioning as a whole. As we continue to grow, the Sr. HR Generalist will help shape our culture by building strong partnerships across the organization, streamlining HR operations, and supporting initiatives that make Trove an exceptional place to work. Your specific responsibilities as a part of our team will include :
- Employee Relations & Partner Support : Act as a trusted resource for employees and leaders, offering guidance on policies, employee relations, and workplace questions. Build strong relationships and partner closely with the Chief People Officer (CPO) to address and resolve employee relations matters with empathy and consistency.
- Payroll Administration : Partner with the CPO to support bi-monthly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Collaborate with managers to confirm payroll details and guarantee accurate pay for all team members.
- Leave Administration : Oversee and process all leaves of absence, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience for employees during key life events. Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with employees and leaders throughout the process.
- Employee Data & HR Systems : Maintain accurate and organized employee data across spreadsheets, files, and HRIS platforms. Lead the transition from manual tracking to a fully integrated HRIS, helping streamline processes and improve the employee experience.
- Policy, Compliance, and Workplace Programs : Develop, update, and ensure consistent application of HR policies and programs. Support compliance initiatives, safety programs, and company travel administration to keep our workplace safe, equitable, and compliant.
- 401(k) Support : Partner with the CFO and CPO to manage 401(k) administration, compliance, and employee education. Help employees understand and make the most of this benefit.
- Employee Engagement & Culture : Lead our annual engagement survey process—from data collection and analysis to presenting insights and action plans that inspire meaningful change. Collaborate with the Employee Experience team to enhance recognition, connection, and overall workplace culture.
- Strategic Projects & Continuous Improvement : Contribute to key people initiatives such as onboarding enhancements, new manager training, international HR expansion, and workspace planning. Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and elevate how we support our growing team.
- HR Team Collaboration : Work closely with the CPO and broader HR team on a variety of strategic and operational projects, bringing curiosity, organization, and heart to everything you do.
Qualifications
We seek team members who are adept at contributing their personal expertise to a collaborative work environment. For this role, we’re looking for someone with the following skills and experience :
Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and self-driven with strong problem-solving abilities.Positive, motivated, and adaptable, with the ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate and build trust across all levels of the organization.Committed to maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.Team-oriented with a flexible mindset and a passion for creating a great employee experience.Prior experience in Employee Relations or a related HR function required.Experience with ADP HRIS highly preferred.Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.Additional Information
