What you'll be doing (duties of this position) :
Manage provider (re)credentialing processes from start to finishAct as a liaison between providers and internal teams to resolve issues and gather needed documentationPerform data entry and maintain provider records in credentialing software and systemsConduct license verifications and National Practitioner Data Bank queriesSupport quarterly credentialing committee meetings and provider panelsPrepare reports and maintain data integrity for auditing and complianceUphold strict confidentiality and accuracy in all provider-related data handlingWhat you'll need to be considered (requirements) :
Minimum typing speed of 60 WPMAdvanced experience with Microsoft Access and ExcelPrior experience conducting NPDB queries and state licensure board verificationsFamiliarity with provider credentialing databases and healthcare provider systemsExcellent attention to detail and proofreading accuracyAbility to prepare data conversions for system updatesINDCSV
