Description

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Assistant Engineer working as a Hydraulics / Hydrology Engineer in our Water Resources' Flood and Drainage group. The position entails performing civil technical analyses, hydrologic / hydraulic modeling, project scheduling, site inspections, and construction cost estimating. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in flood control, hydrology, and climate resilience, and is driven, quick with learning tools and technology, and has a great "can-do" attitude.

This is a staffed, hourly, non-exempt position.

A day in the life as a Wood Rodgers' Assistant Engineer

• Performing as a member of an interdisciplinary modeling team managed by a Senior Level Project Engineer.
• Support field investigations and site assessments to understand existing drainage conditions and facilities.
• Preparing technical analyses for a wide array of projects in both the Private and Public sectors.
• Perform Hydrologic and Hydraulic Analyses in various software.
• Preparing Technical Reports, Map, and Presentations.

Base pay is just one part of the comprehensive compensation package offered by Wood Rodgers.
