Our client is currently seeking a Software Engineer-DevSecOps 5
- Oversees development, documentation and maintenance of standardized, efficient, and innovative processes, tools, methodologies, and performance metrics to streamline the software engineering lifecycle and enable continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of safety critical software.
- Oversees a small technical team to accomplish technical milestones, and contributes to the development of advanced rapid development software capabilities.
- Communicates technical progress, hurdles, proposed solutions, and team updates to Leadership.
- Research or publications in the CI / CD or AI software field are a strong plus, but not required.
- Leads development, documentation and maintenance of standardized, efficient, and innovative processes, tools, methodologies, and performance metrics to streamline the software engineering lifecycle and enable continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of safety critical software. Ability to lead and help junior engineers in accomplishing technical engineering activities.
- Familiar with automated testing methodologies and frameworks (e.g. PyTest) to ensure rapid and efficient test execution is a plus.
- Willingness to use AI Tools in CI / CD development required, familiarity is a plus but not required.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with HIL (Hardware-In-the-Loop) teams to integrate software with hardware-in-the-loop testing environments.

- Experience with CI / CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI / CD, CircleCI).
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium, JUnit, PyTest).
- Understanding of monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus, ELK Stack).
- Experience with cloud platforms a plus but not needed (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with artifact repositories (e.g. Nexus, Artifactory).
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill / Experience) :
Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years' experience in a software engineering classification or a Master's degree with 1 year of experience in a software engineering classification.Must be able to work onsite in Cambridge, MANo relocation offeredPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience) :
Education or experience in modern CI / CD techniques and / or use of AI ToolsAbility to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance if sponsored.Typical Education / Experience : Technical Lead Engineer (Level 5)
Education / experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 7 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+3 years' related work experience, Master+5 years' related work experience).
