Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred

Must-Have :

• Experience with chest tubes
• Experience with IV drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone
• Experience with lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients
• Experience with tracheostomies and laryngectomies
• Experience with telemetry
• Experience with complex wound care
• Experience with central line care and maintenance and blood draws

Description :

Registered Nurse needed for a busy 36-bed adult surgical unit.

The unit primarily cares for orthopedic and trauma patients, as well as other specialties such as plastics and general surgery.

Mobilizing and rehabilitating patients is the main goal in this role.

On-call duties will be required.
