DBA with Postgres and Oracle

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with deep expertise in PostgreSQL and Oracle databases. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in database administration, performance tuning, automation, and migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL within large enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain PostgreSQL and Oracle databases in production and development environments.
• Design, implement, and support PostgreSQL database architectures for high availability, scalability, and security.
• Perform database backup, recovery, replication, and monitoring using PostgreSQL management platforms.
• Develop and maintain Bash and Shell scripts for automation and maintenance tasks.
• Plan and execute database migrations from Oracle to PostgreSQL, including schema, data, and PL / SQL to PL / pgSQL conversions.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize database performance and ensure system reliability.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, ensuring minimal downtime and zero defects in production.
