Staff Accountant

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their Finance team and support financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including financial account reconciliations

Ensure compliance with GAAP and assist with audit preparation and tax filings

Process vendor invoices and employee reimbursements while monitoring accounts payable and receivable

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA candidate preferred

Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector

Solid understanding of GAAP and proficiency in accounting software (Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, etc.)

Familiarity with payroll systems and expense management tools

Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
