Summary :
We are currently seeking a Sr Electrical Engineer to join an incredible world leading Aerospace and Defense Manufacturer.
The organization is a Global business, specializing within missiles and aerospace components. As the Sr Electrical Engineer, you will contribute to the design and development of electrical systems and products particularly with defense programs.
In addition, you will ensure the reliability and performance of electrical systems, from concept through to production, with strong PCB design and layout experience, as well as microelectronics.
The Sr Electrical Engineer’s Responsibilities Will be :
- Design and development of electrical schematics, diagrams, and drawings using industry-standard software and tools.
- Research and select appropriate electrical components, including validation of U.S content, to ensure optimal system performance.
- Build and test prototypes to validate design concepts and make necessary adjustments to meet performance goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including design specifications, bills of materials, and test reports.
- Ensure that designs comply with relevant safety and industry regulations, and MIL standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including program management, and mechanical, software and systems engineers, to ensure successful project execution.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges related to mechanical design, both independently and as part of a team.
The Sr Electrical Engineer’s Qualifications Will be :
- Proficiency in electrical design software.
- Strong knowledge of electrical components and their applications.
- Knowledge of PCB design and layout.
- Skilled with electrical simulation software and tools.
- Knowledge of defense industry regulations and standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in electrical design
- Experience with re-engineering existing products to meet customer requirements and specifications.
- SC clearance or ability to obtain
