The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who will oversee the company's financial records and account personnel.
You will be responsible for maintaining all procedures and controls related to the company's financial accounts.
Responsibilities
Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
Maintain compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations and other legal requirements
Develop and implement internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data
Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial professionals
Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to support business growth and profitability
Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
Provide financial guidance and support to other departments and senior management
Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing coaching and development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 5 - 7 years of related experience
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred
- Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
