Yokogawa Corporation of America (YCA) is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support our Industrial Automation Product Sales (IAPS) organization, along with Marketing and the Engineering Co-op Program. These groups represent a dynamic mix of customer facing professionals, strategic brand and product leaders, and early-career technical talent. Supporting these teams requires strong HR partnership capabilities, a deep understanding of sales and marketing operations, and a passion for developing future engineering talent.
As the HRBP, you will work closely with client group leadership to align HR strategies with business goals, while also driving HR programs and project-based initiatives across the employee life cyclefrom recruitment and onboarding to performance management, development, and retention. You will serve as a trusted advisor and change agent, helping to foster a culture of engagement, inclusion, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership Partner with IAPS, Marketing, and Engineering Co-op stakeholders to understand business priorities and align HR strategies with operational goals. Influence key talent and workforce decisions by providing insights, coaching, and recommendations. Balance business needs with organizational HR policies and practices, ensuring consistency and fairness. Support workforce planning and organizational design to meet evolving business needs.
Employee Relations & Engagement Provide day-to-day coaching to managers on employee relations, policy interpretation, and talent management. Support employees through the employee life cycle, ensuring a positive and consistent HR experience. Develop initiatives that improve employee engagement across sales, marketing, and early-career engineering talent. Promote a culture of inclusion, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Talent & Organizational Development Lead and support HR project-based activities such as onboarding, performance reviews, talent reviews, succession planning, and training initiatives. Oversee the Engineering Co-op Program, including participant experience, leader engagement, and program outcomes. Identify skill gaps and partner with leaders to implement development solutions. Act as a change agent, supporting organizational transformation and adoption of new ways of working.
HR Operations & Administration Partner with Payroll, HRIS, and Benefits to ensure smooth delivery of HR services. Generate HR analytics and reporting to support business decisions. In partnership with Talent Acquisition, lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for assigned functions, building a pipeline of top talent. Ensure new hires are welcomed and onboarded effectively, with a focus on best-in-class practices.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business or HR-related discipline (Master's degree preferred). 5+ years of HR experience in a client-facing role, covering multiple HR disciplines. Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, and workforce development. Experience supporting sales, marketing, or early-career technical talent preferred. Workday experience a plus; multinational company background desirable. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred. Ability to travel up to 10%.
