Data Migration Specialist

Project Description :

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Data Migration Specialist to lead and execute critical data migration projects from legacy systems to our SAP environment. This role requires deep expertise in data migration methodologies, tools, and best practices, with a specific focus on migrating legacy data to SAP S / 4 and other SAP like Successfactors, Ariba etc. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully migrating complex datasets in large-scale enterprise environments.

Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage all phases of data migration projects, from planning and design to execution, testing, and go-live support.
• Develop and implement data migration strategies, including data profiling, cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Utilize various data migration tools, including Syniti, to automate and streamline the migration process.
• Design and develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for migrating data from legacy systems to SAP and SuccessFactors.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Work closely with technical teams to ensure seamless integration between legacy systems and SAP environments.
• Perform data quality checks and resolve data inconsistencies and errors.
• Document data migration processes, procedures, and best practices.
• Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting.
• Mentor and guide junior data migration team members.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest data migration technologies and trends.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with data migration projects.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
