Inside Sales Representative
The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for introducing services to new and established clients. They will communicate with customers by telephone and / or email. The primary duty involves building a large sales funnel by finding, developing, quoting, and tracking qualified opportunities that will lead to a sale.
Major responsibilities / activities include : having an understanding of Mistras' OneSource Solution portfolio with a focus on NDT; generating and managing customer quotes and proposals; ensuring timely follow-up of quotes and opportunities with customers; driving customer satisfaction; closing coordination with Sales and Operations Management; providing feedback on the market & competitive trends; updating & maintaining current customer information, quotes, and sales activities CRM; preparing all necessary reports in a timely & accurate manner; providing feedback on methods to improve qualified lead generation and quoting results; identifying decision-makers amongst targeted leads; conducting outbound and responding to inbound lead generation efforts; delivering accurate forecasts, sales reports, and pipeline visibility; and participating fully in training sessions, meetings, skill-building, and professional development classes.
Desired competencies include resilience and persistence; strong listening and problem-solving; high energy and a self-starter attitude; detail orientation; and CRM discipline.
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, undergraduate degree preferred; industry specific and / or NDT experience a plus; experience in sales and marketing; valid driver's license; travel between 0-10% to customer sites / trade shows when the business need is required; Microsoft Office suite proficiency; exceptional communication skills; and the ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.
Essential physical functions include frequent lifting up to 30 lbs.
Salary range is $50,000-$75,000 annually. Onsite requirement- 5 days.
