Role : Strategist

Tracy-Locke is looking for a Strategist to join our team!

The Strategist's primary responsibilites consist of owning projects in the development of compelling, insight-rich, commerce strategies.

Responsibilities

• Thorough understanding of assigned brands including consumer / shopper demographics, psychographics and media.
• Research of relevant data (primary and secondary sources) and thoughtful analysis that can be used to develop communication strategies.
• Resourceful in finding secondary research.
• Beginning to own and articulate the strategy into an inspiring narrative.
• Assume a key role in developing creative and strategic briefs.
• Develop constructive relationships with cross-functional agency and client teams.
• Actively participates in brainstorms via the delivery of stimulus and points of view.
• Ensure the consumer / shopper mindset and strategic business direction are woven into fabric of work.
• Understanding and practical application of methods and techniques needed for qualitative and quantitative research and analytics.
• Begin to contribute to IAT sessions.
• Evaluate the effects of the work on market performance, competitive environment, consumer perception / opinion and long-term demand for the brand.

Qualifications

• Solid presentation skills.
• 2+ years of strategic planning experience in consumer marketing or agencyenvironment.
• High level of intellectual curiosity.
• Well developed analytical thinking skills.
