Job Summary & Job Duties
The Buyer II is a key member of the Technetics Group end to end supply chain team and collaborates with Engineering, R&D, New Product Introduction, Manufacturing, Sales, and Quality to identify, qualify, and develop suppliers of raw materials, manufactured components, and services. #Technetics #Technetics Group
The Buyer II identifies demand using MRP / ERP, forecasts, historical trends, discrete requests, and other means. The Buyer II is responsible for source identification, RFI / RFP / RFQ, bids, and bid analysis. Analysis performed by the Buyer includes Total Cost of Ownership, Risk Assessment, and similar. They will coordinate technical sourcing activities in cooperation with Engineering and Quality.
