DeRomo's Gourmet Market & Restaurant is a popular, busy, authentic Italian marketplace in Bonita Springs . We are currently seeking seasonal and permanent Food Runners to join our energetic Food & Beverage team. A food runner is responsible for delivering the food from the kitchen to a customer in a restaurant. Duties can include interacting with the chef, double checking orders, matching the food ticket to the customer, and refilling customer's drinks.

Part-Time (shift 10AM - 3PM) or (Shift 4PM - 10PM)

Hours of operation are Sunday - Saturday.

Essential Functions :

• Food runners should be able to carry a large tray with food from the kitchen to any table in the restaurant
• Know all table numbers and sections
• Ensure all dishes match the ticket including modifiers and special requests.
• Check quality of plate presentation.
• Deliver the correct food to the correct table number
• Communicate with wait staff regarding requests and relay those to the kitchen.
• Communicate with wait staff regarding any incomplete orders / deliveries of food
• Complete closing side-work duties
