Patient Ratio : 1 : 7 on night shift

Number of Beds : 44

Scrub Color : Navy blue pants, navy blue or white scrub top

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1880-$2020

Telemetry RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry nursing experience

BLS certification required

Telemetry competency and clinical support skills

Experience with urology and bowel patient populations preferred

Ability to manage 6-7 patients per shift in a fast-paced healthcare setting

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care in the Telemetry unit

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs

Administer medications and manage IV therapies (heparin drips, IV antibiotics)

Perform and assist with TPN, PCA, wound vacs, tube feeds, PEG tubes, NG tubes, colostomies, urostomies, and various drains

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members, including providers, CNAs, and unit secretary

Document patient care using Cerner EMR

Float to other medical-surgical areas as needed

Maintain a positive, energetic, and engaging attitude to support patients and colleagues
