Job description

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Assist with and Train to Facilitate new hire DC training and retraining for current team members. Training will be geared towards improving professional knowledge, customer service and technical skills. Topics may include, but are not limited to operations, skill refinement, customer relations, goal setting/achieving, strategizing, sales, chiropractic, branding, technology, management, administering schedules and Chiro One’s vision and mission.
  • Assist the Clinical Operations and Clinical Training Departments in analyzing the Learning and Development program to determine current needs, project future needs, measure training effectiveness and develop a program catered to ensuring the Chiro One team has the skills, knowledge and drive to accomplish its strategic plan.
  • Identify different cultural and learning styles amongst team members and create a blended learning environment catered to the individuals present, using a variety of facilitation techniques. Listen actively and accept feedback; communicate with enthusiasm, clarity, and simplicity; provide regular and constructive feedback to learners and develop, coach, motivate, and inspire trainees and fellow team members.
  • Perform all administrative duties associated with conducting training (including all pre-training prep work, administering/adjusting schedules, proctoring exams, sending out communications to trainees and managers, obtaining system logins, executing signatures, and post-training assessments).
  • Act as a liaison between departments/managers and trainees.
  • Facilitate courses as needed to support the execution of training programs in multiple delivery methods, including on site (Salmon Creek, WA area) off site training locations in and around the WA/OR, virtual tools like Microsoft Teams, and classroom training sessions, coaching meetings, and one-on-ones.
  • Update and modify materials based on best practices, policy/product/system changes or to improve employee performance and training effectiveness.
  • Maintain and refresh professional knowledge via attending conferences, reading professional publications, and attending relevant trainings that promote success within the position. Remain current on Chiro One policies, procedures, and protocols via the Chiro One Social Network: currently yammer.com.
  • Coordinate and build collaborative working relationships with SMEs, interacting with them in order to develop and maintain knowledge of systems, processes, and procedures
  • Professionally and enthusiastically promote the Chiro One brand.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date knowledge of the services and products provided by Chiro One.
  • Accept and request coaching from qualified sources including directors and managers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or related field; or certificate/certification in adult learning.
  • 1-3 years of training experience, preferably in healthcare.
  • Ability to write technical material, learning objectives, assessments, and formal processes and procedures.
  • Availability to travel domestically for personal onboarding and continuing education, or to cover for another trainer (as needed).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the issues and implications of in-class and distance learning and successful mitigation strategies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Must be able to travel up to 10% within the PNW region
