Hampton Inn in Groton CT is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our operations. This role is critical in ensuring that every guest experiences the high-quality service and satisfaction synonymous with the Hilton brand. The successful candidate will lead and manage all aspects of operations, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage, ensuring high standards of service, safety, and profitability.

  • Key Responsibilities :
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring that all departments function efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that enhance guest satisfaction and profitability.
  • Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues, and make improvements accordingly.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the floor to engage with guests and team members, providing direct support and leadership.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and achieve strategic goals and key performance indicators.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of hospitality professionals to deliver outstanding guest service.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance for all operational departments.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations.
  • Serve as a key point of contact between all departments and external partners or vendors.
  • Qualifications :
  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role within the hospitality industry, ideally within hotel operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to develop and mentor team members.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to thrive under pressure.
  • Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to drive sales and profitability.
  • High-level understanding of hospitality management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • A bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred but not required.
