Play a key role in delivering robust, high-performance products that keep critical industries operating around the globe.

In this hands-on role, the Mechanical Design Engineer will collaborate with a talented team of designers and engineers to develop smart, efficient, and reliable solutions. Bring your hands-on experience with rotating equipment design, and / or fluid dynamics and analysis, coupled with materials selection and it will help you hit the ground running. Your insights and decisions will contribute to solving real-world challenges and pushing the boundaries of innovation. You\u2019ll help lead with your subject matter expertise and mentor the design team to meet both customer requirements and manufacturing goals. This is a great opportunity to apply your engineering judgment and technical expertise to moderately complex mechanical design challenges . You\u2019ll support analysis, testing, and integration of mechanical systems-with guidance from senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers
• Perform Engineering design calculations in support of product design requirements
• Communicate product design requirements to the Designer Team and approve drawings, models prepared by the Designer Team prior to release
• Document and communicate results of technical data generated
• Participate on teams assigned to address specific organizational initiatives including Cost Out and Standardization
• Provide technical support to Manufacturing, Test, Aftermarket & Field Service, as required
• Share engineering information and promote open dialogue
• Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and / or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
