Lead Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Developer to oversee our development team and guide the technical direction of key projects. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong expertise in NetSuite and software engineering, capable of mentoring developers, architecting scalable systems, and ensuring high-quality code delivery. Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of NetSuite-based software solutions.

Collaborate with department leaders, end users, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and project scope.

Architect scalable, maintainable systems following best practices.

Review code, provide feedback, and uphold coding standards.

Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers.

Manage project planning, task assignments, and development timelines.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack.

Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of NetSuite development experience, including :

SuiteQL

Workflows

Advanced PDFs

SuiteCommerce (a plus)

Proven experience leading development teams or projects.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript (SuiteScript 2.0 & 2.1; 1.0 experience a plus), along with HTML and CSS.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and agile methodologies.
