Product Specialist

The Product Specialist position is responsible for working with new and prospective clients as well as internal clients to effectively discuss the features and benefits of Sensata technologies product solutions.

General Responsibilities

• Key participant in work within a multi-site, cross-functional matrixed operation to deliver exceptional customer service
• Organize new business opportunities to help define and optimize the product portfolio through analysis and understanding of targeted markets, market trends, new technology, customer business issues and the competitive environment
• Make recommendations to improve product quality and / or feature sets, service and responsiveness to customers
• Respond to customer product and application inquiries via telephone or email, provide product pricing and availability, and monitor competitive activity in order to identify customer needs
• Organize staff and / or attend or support national and regional trade shows
• Collaborate on and conduct technical training courses and application workshops regarding products for customers, salespeople, distributors, or manufacturer's reps
• Provide assistance to leverage current portfolio of products and services to drive penetration in key accounts and profitable long term growth

Experience / Qualifications

Base Salary Range :

$76,100.00 - $104,610.00
