Post-Funding Coordinator

As a Post-Funding Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth, accurate, and compliant disbursement operations after closing. Location / Schedule : This is a hybrid role can be based out of our Akron, Ohio or Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office. Work hours being MondayFriday, 9 : 00 a.m. to 6 : 00 p.m. EST.
In this role, you will :
- Review and verify essential funding documents, including Closing Disclosures, tax statements, recording fees, and closing instructions.
- Monitor tax bills and process payments promptly and accurately.
- Review recording documents and manage overage refunds for recording fees.
- Reconcile escrow accounts and disburse remaining funds after closing using wire-out sheets, check requests, and formal correspondence.
- Revise funding documents to reflect post-disbursement changes.
- Partner with borrowers, attorneys, and clients to resolve outstanding post-funding issues.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries with professionalism and urgency.
- Ensure all post-closing disbursements meet regulatory and internal compliance standards.
- Maintain accurate and organized records to support audits, quality checks, and reporting.
- Communicate effectively across departments to support a cohesive and efficient workflow.
Experience
Previous experience in banking, escrow, or a related field preferred.Familiarity with disbursement procedures, escrow funding, and closing documentation is highly valued.Skills & Abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems.Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Knowledge
Basic understanding of accounting and escrow principles.Knowledge of closing documents and settlement procedures is a plus.Physical & Mental Requirements
