Join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of others! We are looking for a Team Lead for our Caregiver Wellness team.
This is a remote role with potential travel into our New York, NY office or the FreedomCare hub closest to you for meetings and / or collaboration.
Department & Position Overview :
Our Caregiver Wellness team focuses on enhancing the Caregiver’s experience by providing insight and assistance with employee benefits.
The Caregiver Wellness Team Lead role is dedicated to successfully supporting our newly enrolled Caregivers by delivering a seamless and informative benefits orientation experience and process.
Every Day You Will :
- Direct point-of-contact for team member inquiries, or concerns; respond to and resolve escalated or complex issues
- Manage the performance of the Benefits Orientation Specialists through active motivation, assessing performance, consistent communication, and effective feedback
- Train all Benefits Specialists on all caregiver benefit offerings, concepts and processes
- Continuously conduct qualitative audits of calls, chatters, call logs, and emails to Caregivers; and effectively provide feedback to the to ensure that the most accurate and comprehensive benefit details are provided to our Caregivers
- Overseeing monthly utilization reports related to telehealth, EAP, reimbursements, training & education, and health plans
- Partner closely with the Care team to provide benefits support; provide benefits training to cross-functional teams such as Care, Welcome, Intake, etc.
- Manage and update the internal benefits wiki and the team dashboard; coordinate virtual workshops for Caregivers
- Effectively support the growth of Caregivers in New York and all other states as we expand
- Support process improvement by identifying system or workflow areas of opportunity
Ideal Candidate Will Possess :
- Proven exceptional customer service; ability to provide a seamless Customer Service experience including interacting with customers, answering customer inquiries, and effectively handling customer complaints
- Ability to motivate team to meet and / or exceed targets or metrics
- Understanding and knowledge of Wage Parity Laws
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience using health literacy tactics like the teach-back method to ensure comprehension of complex concepts
- Excellent organization and presentation skills
- Computer proficiency : the ability to create and modify presentations as needed
Nice-to-Haves :
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Previous healthcare experience

At FreedomCare, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides our employees with the opportunity to professionally grow and develop within a role.
The base pay range for this role is between $23.00 and $27.00 an hour at the commencement of your first year of employment.
Compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors which may include, but are not limited to : skill set, years of relevant experience, education, location, and licensure / certifications.
