About The Position

Must-Have :

• Experience in OB, Mother / Baby, and Labor & Delivery
• Skills in circulating, FHM, and triage
• Ability to float as needed

Description :

Must work in all areas of labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum.

Will float to assist as a sitter when needed.

Floating to other facilities may occur if needed and as census allows.

No requests for time off will be accepted during the first 8 days of the contract.

Only one holiday request is allowed, either one day or one evening / day after.

Patient ratios will follow established staffing guidelines.

Work every other weekend, unless specified otherwise.

The unit features a 15-bed capacity with 3 triage bays and 2 operating rooms.

Registered nurses provide antepartum, labor and delivery, operating room circulating, scrub nurse, and newborn care at delivery.

Nurses perform lab draws and hearing screenings on newborns.

Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and / or NCC C-EFM.

AWHONN Advanced is preferred.

Participation in annual training and module completion is required.

Must show proof of influenza vaccination or a valid exemption.

Background checks are mandatory prior to employment.

All lab work should be completed within 48-72 hours upon signing the contract.

Travelers will be prioritized for floating duties.

Return staff must wait 6 months before reapplying.

References are required for submission.
