JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Cost Accounting Manager to lead our cost accounting function and drive financial insight across operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate product costing, optimizing inventory valuation, and supporting profitability analysis to inform executive decision-making.
As a key member of the Finance & Accounting team, you will collaborate closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and FP&A teams to analyze cost drivers, monitor variances, and implement cost control strategies. You’ll also play a critical role in budgeting, forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in cost accounting, a proactive mindset, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is highly preferred.
ESSENTIAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyzing manufacturing costs including materials, labor, and overhead cost.
- Maintain and update cost accounting record in the SAP to ensure accurate product costing and margin analysis
- Support development of product pricing models and margin analysis for customer quotes and proposals.
- Support inventory valuation, cycle counts, and physical inventory reconciliations.
- Prepare and review critical financial documents, including inventory and cost accounting JEs and account reconciliations.
- Monthly forecasting and actual report of P&L, inventories, and total cost (expenses).
REQUIREMENTS
Deadline orientedBachelor's degree with preference in Business field (Accounting or Finance is a huge plus but not required).Strong technical accounting background.At least Ten years cost accounting experience is required (Manager)At least Five years cost accounting experience is required (Assistant Manager)Must have SAP experience of both of FI and CO module.Business Korean and English is requiredStrong MS office experience requiredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsManufacturing plant experience required (Automotive or long-production period industries).Must have pre-cost, standard cost, and development cost (ED&D) experience required.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout Company organizationOpen to and willingness to do ad-hoc assignmentsINTERNAL TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
