Work Location : Atlanta, GA (100% remote, will only consider applicants from the following states : Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Michigan, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin)
Leadership and Team Oversight
Lead, mentor, and develop the Revenue Cycle Build Team, ensuring analysts have the skills, resources, and support necessary to deliver high-quality system build and optimization. Establish clear goals, accountabilities, and performance standards to drive results. Build a collaborative culture that encourages problem-solving, innovation, and partnership across teams.
Operational Oversight
Act as a strategic partner to operational leadership in Patient Access, Coding / HIM, Revenue Integrity, Billing, and SBO. Translate operational requests into technical requirements, ensuring alignment with system capabilities, enterprise standards, and regulatory guidelines. Facilitate ongoing communication and collaboration between operations and Emory Digital to achieve shared outcomes.
Epic Build, Testing & Optimization
Oversee Epic Revenue Cycle build activities, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to project timelines. Direct system testing and validation in partnership with Emory Digital and operational subject matter experts. Evaluate system performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous optimization to support revenue cycle efficiency.
Strategic Alignment & Governance
Serve as an extension of both Revenue Cycle Operations and Emory Digital, ensuring alignment on enterprise strategy, governance, and future-state planning. Provide input and leadership into project governance processes, prioritization, and decision-making. Anticipate future needs, technology enhancements, and workflow changes to proactively position Revenue Cycle for success.
Performance & Accountability
Develop and monitor key performance indicators related to build delivery, testing success, optimization outcomes, and overall system performance. Provide transparent reporting to executive leadership on progress, risks, and impact. Ensure compliance with internal standards, financial goals, and external regulations.
Travel : Less than 10% of the time may be required. Work Type : Remote employee - works from locations outside traditional office, often from home or another remote setting
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or any related field. 7 years minimum experience with at least 5 years in a management position. Certification - Epic Certification & Epic Systems Certified
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Required)
Deep understanding of healthcare revenue cycle workflows and best practices across the continuum (registration, authorization, coding, billing, AR management). Proven ability to translate operational needs into Epic build solutions. Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams. Exceptional leadership, project management, and organizational skills. Ability to influence at all levels of the organization, from front-line staff to senior executives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex issues clearly and concisely
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or any related field. 10 years minimum experience with at least 5 years in a management position
