Job Description
The Warehouse Associate is a vital part of our Enhancements & Flooring Divisions that provide unit upgrades to our clients.
A positive attitude and prior experience in warehousing, order picking, inventory control, order picker / forklift operations and client deliveries are a prerequisite.
A willingness to work hard, the ability to lift 50-75 lbs. (routinely), self-driven attitude, honest and ethical behavior are mandatory.
A spotless driving record is a must for this position. This position will work a standard shift; 8 : 00 a.m.5 : 00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
An occasional Saturday may be required.
RESPONSIBILITIES : Primary :
Primary :
1. This position requires the following skills : 1) safe use of order picker 2) warehousing inventory in the proper location 3) picking correct cabinets / countertops for daily delivery, using scanner and inventory system.
Secondary :
1. General warehouse duties as assigned including, but not limited to : General neatness and cleanliness including the external grounds use of safe practices and safety equipment completion of assigned computer generated / paper work maintaining security and safety of your person and the facility for all staff any and all such reasonable duties as may be assigned by your supervisor or other recognized corporate management personnel.
Qualifications
- Valid Drivers License and clean record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in the warehouse / facilities maintenance fields is desirable.
- Good interpersonal skills are required for interaction with the internal customer and the external customer during vendor and client deliveries.
- This individual must be physically able to perform required duties, master order picker / forklift operations and support facilities operations.
These skills & abilities are mandatory for continued employment. Flexibility in weekday / weekend scheduling is a must as is a valid drivers license.
