Credit Officer
Key Responsibilities :
- Review credit applications and supporting documentation, including financial statements, appraisals, environmental reports, rent rolls, leases, and title reports
- Conduct appraisal reviews and participate in property inspections for new loan requests
- Prepare credit assessments for new originations and renewals, ensuring alignment with internal policies and risk standards
- Collaborate with front-office teams to collect documentation and revise credit proposals as needed
- Recommend loan structures and facility terms within the internal credit system
- Track pipeline activity and update internal reporting tools
- Perform post-booking callbacks and ensure completion of closing checklists
- Assist in reviewing loan documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Maintain adherence to internal ethics and risk management protocols

Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, or a related discipline2-5 years of experience in commercial real estate credit, underwriting, or portfolio managementStrong organizational and analytical skills; ability to synthesize complex informationProficiency in Microsoft Office and database tools; familiarity with credit systems preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and exercise sound judgmentTravel Requirements :
