Key Responsibilities :

• Provide 24 / 7 operational and clinical leadership for the CVOR, overseeing nursing practice, patient care quality, staffing, and budget management.
• Foster a collaborative environment that supports innovation, professional development, and shared governance.
• Ensure excellence in surgical care delivery while driving performance improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a strategic partner to physician leaders, perioperative services, and hospital administration.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing nursing team committed to clinical excellence and patient-centered care. Qualifications :
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree in Nursing or healthcare-related field preferred.
• CVOR nursing experience is required.
• Previous nursing leadership or management experience is strongly preferred.
• Active RN licensure in the District of Columbia.
• Specialty certification in nursing or administration required within 2 years of hire. What We Offer :
