We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent CNC Production Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This role requires a hands-on individual who can oversee the production process, ensuring that production is cost-effective and timely, and that products are produced correctly, cost-effectively, and on time. As a CNC Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the performance of our CNC machining and vinyl cutting plotters. Responsibilities :
1. Oversee the entire production process of CNC machining and vinyl cutting, ensuring efficiency and quality in operations.
2. Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
3. Monitor production schedules, staffing requirements, and capacity planning to meet business demands.
4. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
5. Provide technical expertise and support to the production team.
6. Train and mentor staff on new equipment and procedures, ensuring a high level of competence and skill within the team.
7. Collaborate with other departments, such as Engineering and Quality, to optimize production processes.
8. Monitor equipment performance and maintenance schedules to ensure optimum machine availability and performance.
9. Analyze production data, identify trends, and provide reports to senior management.
10. Lead continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices in manufacturing processes.
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a CNC production management role.
3. Proficiency with CNC machining and vinyl cutting plotters.
4. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to resolve production issues.
7. Proven ability to implement process improvements.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in manufacturing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
10. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
