Overview
Compliance Specialist (Pharma / Healthcare) – Woodbridge, NJ. Salary : $55,000–$65,000 (DOE). Schedule : Full-time | Monday–Friday | Onsite.
What You'll Be Doing
- Conduct due diligence and onboarding for vendors / customers; maintain accounts and licensure records.
- Support audits, inspections, and regulatory documentation requests.
- Manage compliance logs, reports, and licensing renewals across states.
- Monitor regulatory updates, perform internal audits, and ensure SOP / P&P alignment.
- Track and report on purchase, credit, return, and incident activity.
- Oversee specialty compliance areas
Controlled Substances
Review and approve CS questionnaires, licenses, and DEA documentation.Verify compliance in ERP systems; approve / release customer orders for shipping.Recalls & Vendor Management — Initiate / manage product recalls; complete vendor questionnaires and onboarding.Licensing & Platforms
Distribute updated licenses, archive records, and maintain ERP / third-party systems.Validate accounts, confirm expirations, and manage platform transitions.What They're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in a science discipline or equivalent work experience.3+ years in pharma or healthcare (quality / compliance preferred).Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and an ERP (SAP or similar).Experience assembling documentation for regulatory agencies / audit requests.Strong integrity, judgment, and communication; excellent time management under pressure.Collaborative mindset with the ability to adapt to rapid change and drive tasks to completion.Why You'll Love It Here
