Operations Manager
Position Summary
The Operations Manager is directly responsible for all aspects of branch operations (Service & Engineered Products) including team member experience, safety, sales, service, production, customer experience, inspections, profitability, and business growth.
Job Duties
- Serve as a business "owner" Proprietor, Teammate, Partner who ensures the branch meets sales and budgetary objectives through field productivity, scheduling, timely / efficient billing, controlled costs, and financial responsibilities (e.g. A / R and P&L).
- Provide preeminent customer experience "service" and sales support to maintain / grow existingcustomer relationships, gain new customers, and keep the appropriate customer.
- Champion, Continuous development, career pathing, recruiting, and growth for all team.
- Grow location's inspection contract base, repairs / replacements / upgrades resulting from inspection findings.
- Communicate product specifications, daily schedules, on time delivery (OTD), and local inventory status with internal / external partners.
- Monitor / maintain an accurate and acceptable utilization rate of field technicians.
- Sustain regular communication channels with business unit leaders regarding all business aspects and utilize A-Teams for non-standard work.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma Principles to reduce waste and improve efficiencies to meet on time delivery and other metrics. Responsible for maintenance and housekeeping / general upkeep of the branch. Assure team members maintain all vehicles, equipment, storage, and work areas used in the field and production areas.
- Utilize performance reviews, personal development plans, career paths, and retention / promotion plans to shepherd the team member's life cycle.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education
A high school diploma, vocational-technical school, equivalent military experience or technical college training program preferred. In the absence of degree, directly related job experience serving in a management role, where a number of years and proven knowledge may offset the degree requirementSuccessful completion of Our company's Schooling is required within 24 months of accepting role.Shop Repairs, etc.Experience & Skills

Demonstrate care and concern for all team members.Understand and lead the execution of Our company's safety programs and training for team members and stakeholders.Make safety a daily point of emphasis and regularly communicate as much with your teams.Report all injuries, incidents and near hits immediately and investigate to identify root cause and corrective actions.Keep yourself and others safe by identifying hazards and implementing control measures to eliminate / reduce risk.Contact Director of Safety upon being contacted by any official of a regulatory agency such as OSHA, EPA, etc.
