Regional Director of Marketing & E‑Commerce
Reports to the Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing and leads a team of three Regional Marketing and E‑Commerce Managers. The role drives revenue, increases market share, and enhances brand awareness across Highgate’s owned and managed properties in Hawaii. Additionally, the Director oversees the hotel’s e‑commerce initiatives, manages online distribution channels, optimizes website performance, and maximizes online revenue opportunities.

Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach, US-HI-Honolulu, Hawaii. The resort blends indoor and outdoor luxury, features a 280,000‑gallon oceanarium, and offers a saltwater infinity pool with private cabanas.

Responsibilities
- Develop strategic KPIs and set performance goals in partnership with property leadership teams.
- Build annual Marketing & E‑Commerce budgets and collaborate with SVP of Sales & Marketing, GMs, DOSs, and DORMs.
- Deploy print, digital, and social media strategies based on competitive data, demand analysis, and market mix management.
- Collaborate with DOSs to support all sales‑impacted market segments including BT, GDS, B2B groups, and Luxury Consortia.
- Manage relationships with third‑party vendors, agencies, and partners to maximize ROI.
- Liaise with Food & Beverage team to support menu design and B2B marketing efforts for local and group catering.
- Ensure hotels have adequate online presence and visibility to drive online channel performance, overseeing hotel digital direct channels, retail management, and social media.
- Assist hotels in improving work efficiency, developing & controlling content quality from the hotel’s perspective to drive more traffic and enhance conversion rates.
- Audit proposals and recommend use of technologies and platforms for test‑and‑learn applications to drive competitive advantage, revenue, and ROI.
- Drive increased market share and revenue through focused hotel‑level activity.
- Provide hotels with comprehensive guidelines and best practices across various subjects and topics, focusing on revenue‑generating activities.
- Lead and develop content creation process for hotels to enhance the overall experience of Highgate Hawaii’s branded digital outlets.
- Support general tactical SEO initiatives such as keyword research, meta titles, and local search optimization.
- Analyze website performance metrics, booking data, and customer feedback to optimize the online booking experience and drive direct bookings.
- Support all new opening hotels and assets.
- Provide insight into performance by channel, geography, and hotel level.
- Develop, lead, and plan strategies to optimize brand presence and ensure Highgate hotels are best represented on third‑party sites such as OTA’s.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.7 – 10 years of experience as a marketing leader in an above‑property position.Experience dealing with and communicating with ownership groups and asset management.Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Experience working collaboratively with revenue management.Well‑rounded knowledge of all market segments and channel sources with the ability to develop strategic plans for each.Proficient in Google Analytics 4, with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data‑driven decisions.Ability to direct, lead, train, motivate, and drive a team of DOSMs.Proficient in SEMRush, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Canva, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Must be able to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines.Extensive experience in project management.Marketing & e‑Commerce expertise with extensive experience developing and executing marketing strategy plans.Extensive digital marketing experience with experience working in the hospitality and / or travel industry.Flexibility to travel within the region and work evenings and weekends as needed.#J-18808-Ljbffr
