Production Technician

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Production Technician for a company based in Decatur, AL. that produces military grade components. In this role, you will have the opportunity to advance your career while being part of a dynamic team of people.

Pay Rate

$16.00-$17.00

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Thursday, 6 00 am to 4 30 pm. No OT is approved at any time.

Production Technician Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate and learn to use a lathe and other mechanical tools.
  • Assisting in painting and finishing product bodies.
  • Support general plant operations, which may include manual tasks such as cleaning and maintenance.
  • Conduct inspections based on established criteria.

Production Technician Qualifications and Requirements

  • Active soldering certification required.
  • Prior experience with inspection or quality control is a plus.
  • Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Flexibility to take on additional duties beyond soldiering.
