Audit Manager - Remote
We are looking for an Audit Manager to join our team and become a valuable asset in our firm. This position involves overseeing a team of auditors to ensure quality assurance, accuracy, and success of all projects.
The ideal candidate should have a CPA certification and experience in audit, assurance, and financial statement preparation.
Position Overview : The Audit Manager will manage a team of auditors and oversee the development and implementation of audit processes and procedures.
They will also provide guidance to auditors on audit methodology and technical issues. Additionally, they will need to review and assess staff performance, as well as ensure the accuracy and quality of all audit work products.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the audit process from planning to completion and ensure its accuracy and quality
- Manage and mentor team of auditors, providing guidance on audit methodology and technical matters
- Collaborate with clients to identify audit risks and develop solutions to address them
- Analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Evaluate internal controls to determine their effectiveness and scope of coverage
- Communicate audit results to management and make recommendations for improvement
- Ensure timely completion of all audits, and review and report on the progress of each audit
Qualifications :
- CPA certification
- Previous experience in audit, assurance, and financial statement preparation
- Ability to develop and implement auditing processes and procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
