Weekends and holidays included. Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Job Description We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our 42-bed Med-Surg Telemetry unit. The role requires expertise in managing a diverse patient population including cardiac, diabetes, CHF, COPD, renal, general surgery, and orthopedics. The nurse will work closely with a multidisciplinary team consisting of RNs, LPNs, PCTs, CNAs / US, and unit secretaries. Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on the Med-Surg Telemetry unit. Administer medications including Insulin, Heparin, and Lasik drips. Monitor and assess patient conditions effectively. Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care. Float to intermediate care unit (IMCU) patients if necessary based on census. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current RN license. ACLS and BLS certifications required. CPI certification required. Experience in a similar role is preferred.
