Clinical Laboratory Technologist (Microbiology)

We're currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Clinical Laboratory Technologist with a focus in Microbiology to join our lab team in Asheville, NC. In this role, you'll conduct a wide range of microbiological tests and analyses that directly support patient care and clinical decision-making. Clinical Laboratory Technologist – Microbiology

Location : Asheville, NC

Pay : $22–$38 / hr (based on experience)

Employment Type : Direct Hire

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform routine and complex microbiological testing, including culture setup, organism identification, and antimicrobial susceptibility testing.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Ensure the accuracy, quality, and timely reporting of results in compliance with regulatory standards (CLIA, CAP, etc.).
• Maintain clear, organized, and thorough documentation of all laboratory processes and results.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnostic data.
• Adhere to all safety, quality control, and infection prevention protocols.
