Lab Technician

Job details Spherion is looking for a qualified Lab Technician to undertake a variety of laboratory procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in working under possible hazardous conditions (e.

g. pathogens or chemicals) This is a temporary assignment.

Responsibilities :

• Receive, label and analyze samples ... *Design and execute laboratory testing according to standard procedures
• Conduct experiments under defined conditions to verify / reject various types of hypothesis using refined scientific methods
• Organize and store all chemical substances
• Record all data and results on specified forms
• Maintain Equipment
• Ensure all safety guidelines are followed

Working hours : 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM (Various Shifts Available)

Skills :

• Chemistry background
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Proficient in Excel
• Lab Tech experience

Education : Bachelors

Bachelors

Experience : 1-4 years

1-4 years

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 2 years experience (manufacturing experience is a plus)
• Proven experience as a Lab Tech or relevant experience
• Experience in operating electrical and non-electrical laboratory equipment
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel) and database systems
• Ability to work autonomously and under pressure
• Valid laboratory technician license
• Degree in Biology, Chemistry or related field
