Position Overview

We’re seeking a skilled and creative Website Designer & Developer to design and build custom author websites. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with WordPress, Bluehost, and Elementor , along with a strong background in front-end web development and optimization. This role requires technical proficiency, an eye for design, clear communication, and the ability to deliver projects on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Design and build custom author websites using WordPress, Bluehost, and Elementor.
• Collaborate with our team and authors to create websites that align with the author’s brand and publishing goals.
• Set up and configure hosting environments through Bluehost.
• Ensure websites are responsive, visually appealing, and user-friendly.
• Implement custom styling and design features using HTML and CSS when needed.
• Optimize websites for speed, accessibility, and performance.
• Use Google PageSpeed Insights and related tools to diagnose and resolve performance issues.
• Provide ongoing communication on project statuses, deliverables, and timelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical or design-related issues as they arise.
