A Northwest Industrial Company is seeking a Tester / Assembly person, Pay is 16 / hr. +, Schedule - Monday- Friday (8am to 5pm) Temp to hire position.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Assemble products such as : valves check valves, chokes, and manifolds.
- Performs any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools.
- Forklift Operator
- Assemble products according to routings and blueprints.
- Measure parts to specified tolerances.
- Deburrs, grinds, and buffs parts.
- Clean, assembles, disassembles, and replaces parts as required.
- Use hand tools, chemicals, adhesives, and epoxies.
- Use equipment such as : grinder, belt sander, drill press, fixtures, and gauges, hydraulic.
- Press, and soldering equipment.
- Record test results on the Acceptance Test Data Final Card.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or
- Six months to one year warehouse experience.
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail orientated.
Physical Requirements :
- Exposure to shop environments such as noise, dust, odors, and fumes.
- Occasionally required to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about facilities.
