Wound Care LPN

Overview

We are seeking aWound Care LPN / LVN, internally referred to as our Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), to join our Wound Care team. As an LPN / LVN in wound care, you should be empathetic and have good communication skills. Shift’s Available : Days

Employment Type : Per Diem (PRN)

Hours : 8-hour shift

Location : St. Mary’s Medical Center, Blue Springs, MO

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to) :

technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care

meet the communication needs of the patient and family

performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse

this is a clinic environment with a need of one to three shifts / week

supports both inpatient and outpatient care

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have :

current and valid Missouri state LPN license

current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current

Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus :

one year experience in an Acute Care hospital or clinic setting

previous wound care experience
