Description

Position Summary :

In this field-based position, the Lift Station Repair Technician is responsible for performing service and repair to sewage pump stations. This position involves electrical and plumbing tasks as well as confined space entry.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

• Performs maintenance, replacement, and repair of lift station equipment
• Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and performing repairs
• Assist in the installation, cleaning, maintenance, repair, and or rebuild of the mechanical equipment found in sewerage pump stations
• Performs diagnostic test to determine operating efficiency of equipment, permit and other document readings, and prepares reports
• Maintenance and repair of electrical control panels
• Responds to trouble alarms during normal working hours and after hours
• Work within confined spaces such as manholes, or wet wells
• Work may be performed in Confined Spaces

Minimum Education / Experience / Qualifications :

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $23.00 - $27.00 hourly at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
