Puckett's Grocery & Restaurant in Hendersonville, TN is hiring PREP COOKS to join our kitchen team. This is a great position to grow into the restaurant industry. We love to cross-train and promote from within.

Puckett's Hendersonville is slated to open April 2024. If hired for this role, you would begin training immediately at our other locations and transfer once the Hendersonville location opens.

JOB SUMMARY

The Prep Cook is responsible for cooking and preparing a variety of food products including meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, sauces, stocks, breads, and other food products using a variety of equipment and utensils according to the Daily Prep List. They are responsible for performing minor machine maintenance, setting up ingredients in preparation for production, and assigning the overall production of food when needed. They must also perform other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing of cooked items and preparing appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates
