We are looking for an experienced Billing Clerk to join our team in Chesapeake, Virginia. In this role, you will play a key part in managing billing operations and ensuring accurate financial transactions. This is a Contract-to-permanent position within the retail industry, offering an opportunity for long-term growth.
Responsibilities :
- Input customer billing information into the system with precision and attention to detail.
- Organize and scan invoices into designated profiles for easy access and record-keeping.
- Monitor and respond to billing inquiries through the department inbox, providing timely and attentive support.
- Conduct high-volume bank reconciliations across multiple store locations.
- Collaborate with the treasury department to streamline processes and ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist in resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting to support billing operations.
- Ensure smooth communication between departments to address billing-related issues effectively.
- Assist in implementing best practices for billing and reconciliation processes.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing, treasury, or a related field.
- Proficiency in data entry with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial data management and analysis.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook for managing email communications.
- Ability to handle high-volume bank reconciliations efficiently.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage various responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to address inquiries and collaborate with the team.
