Job descriptionEducation : Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required; Master’s Degree strongly preferred Experience : Minimum of five (5) years of operating room and PACU leadership experience combined with direct, clinical experience working in in the OR and / or PACU; strong leadership skills, team work, and uplifting the morale in the units, Perioperative anesthesia certification and guidelines. License : State of CA RN license in good standing Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, CNOR preferred Computer Skills : EPIC EMR and Microsoft Office suite (e.g., MS Word, MS PowerPoint, etc.) experience
HCT seeks an experienced Nurse professional to serve as the Interim Nurse Manager of PACU at a 185+ bed hospital in Northern California.
Responsibilities include :
- Managing the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and Operating Room (OR). The individual in this role will be expected to assist with scrubbing as needed.
- Creating and overseeing block schedules for nursing staff.
Requirements :
Expenses booked and paid for while on assignment include housing, airfare and rental car.
